Opening remarks: towards intra-African cooperation in the cultural sector

Skinder Hundal, the Director of the British Art Council will share personal reflections about this year's program.

The focus of this edition is on towards intra-African cooperation in the cultural sector. The purpose is to shed light on initiatives that are nourishing African and Afro-descendant contemporary art, beyond historical limitations and the hurdles imposed by the pandemic.
