About this event
There will be a guided tour to Naples, which includes a guided tour of the Archaeological Museum of Naples. This museum holds one of the most important collections of antiquities in the world, offering a complete picture of the Greek-Roman civilization in its various aspects. Inside you can visit the famous Farnese collection, inherited by Charles of Bourbon, son of Elisabeth Farnese and the last exponent of the dynasty, who conquered the Kingdom of Naples in 1734. The guided tour continues in the section relating to Pompeii and other Vesuvian cities buried by Vesuvius.
After a guided tour, we will have a typical Neapolitan lunch at a restaurant in the Lungomare area. Lunch will include a three-course menu (vegetarian option available), with water and soft drinks included. Before lunch, the chef will give an explanation and demonstration about the preparation and cooking of an original Neapolitan pizza.
After lunch, we will finish our day with a short walking tour in the monumental area of Naples, to enjoy the view toward Vesuvius and the outside of the Royal Palace in Piazza Plebiscito.
This tour is recommended for children age 10+
