Mercy Ships (mercyships.org) is a NPO established in 1978 which owns and operates the two largest civilian hospital ships in the world: Africa Mercy and Global Mercy. All crew and staff onboard work as volunteers bringing Hope and Healing to the poorest of countries in Africa.

Per year over 6000 operations are performed onboard these vessels and more than 3000 doctors are getting over 300.000 hours of vital medical training onboard.
