Is there an entrance fee?

No! The event is kindly sponspored by the EU-funded project Moral Impossibility: Rethinking Choice and Conflict, based at the University of Pardubice. The workshop and the nibbles afterwards are free of charge for all participants.

Do we start on time?

We aim to start on time so try to arrive 5 minutes early

Do I need philosophical or drama background to participate?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! Everyone is welcome. The aim of the workshop is to embody our questions and ideas, and explore new ideas through experience and performance, so no prior knowledge or skill is required.

Question 4

I am shy. Can I participate?

Accepted Answer

Shy people can be surprisingly active and creative in the right context. The workshop will require people to engage and participate in the scenarios we set up, but in a space that's relaxed, friendly, non-judgmental, and welcoming of diversity.

Question 5

The workshop is long! Will I get bored?

Accepted Answer

Not a chance. 2.5 hours is the minimal amount to have a proper immersive experience. The structure of the workshop is such that you will be constantly engaged: warm up meditation, interactive exercises, film extract screenings, group discussions, and a short talk at the end will fill the time.
