About this event

The Ebru art (paper marbling) is one of the oldest and special form of Turkish traditional arts, as a paper decoration art, applied on the basis of spreading paints and distributing them on a surface of a specaiiy forumlated liquid, which then shaped into different unique patterns. Although Ebru means 'water surface', it can also be defined as 'moire, cloud, cloud-like'. We can also define it as endless countless 'veins', a dance of colors in an expression of infinite possibilities. While making Ebru Art, whatever is in your heart - pours out onto the surface of water, like the moments you live, that are captured onto paper from the surface of the water. The Ebru Art merges and integrates on the surface of the water, just like magic, and heals you.
