Welcome to the era of spatial computing. Join us for an exciting workshop presented by Create with Swift, designed for developers who want to explore the innovative world of visionOS.

We invite developers to deepen their expertise in the essential aspects of visionOS through a structured program:


  1. Understanding the foundations of design for visionOS: this comprehensive exploration of visionOS design principles, will enable you to create applications that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally comprehensive.
  2. Mastering 2D Development with SwiftUI: you will immerse yourself in the world of SwiftUI and enhance your ability to craft intuitive user interfaces while adding some depth to your experience.
  3. Embarking on 3D with RealityKit: this workshop section will introduce you to the basics of 3D app development for visionOS and practical sessions on RealityKit. You will gain the knowledge and skills required to initiate compelling immersive experiences.
  4. Apple Vision Pro hands-on demo: experience the forefront of technology with a hands-on demo where you'll wear the Apple Vision Pro headset yourself. This session offers a live demonstration of its capabilities, immersing you in the potential of visionOS through guided exploration.


The workshop is facilitated by experts, who will combine theory with hands-on exercises to offer a well-rounded learning experience. By the end of the workshop, you will be ready to pioneer advancements in 2D and 3D realms within the dynamic Apple ecosystem.

Please note, that this workshop will be conducted entirely in English.

We're providing lunch for everyone. Enjoy a variety of dishes that suit all tastes, along with free water and soft drinks all day. During the one-hour lunch break, you can enjoy your meal and chat with others in a beautiful garden in center of Napoli. And there's more—after everything, we'll have a free final aperitivo, a fun time to chat more and celebrate a great day together.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring to the workshop?

To gain experience with developing apps for the Apple Vision Pro, you should bring your Macbook with the latest Xcode Version (15.3) installed as well as a charger. In addition for any design exercises, you may bring paper, pens and any other utensils you like to use. We don't provide extra Macs.

Do I need to have an Apple Vision Pro?

No. There is no need for you to own an Apple Vision Pro headset. We will work with the visionOS Xcode simulator and also have at least one Apple Vision Pro headset on-site.

If I normally use prescription glasses, can I still enjoy the Apple Vision Pro demo?

For those who rely on glasses for vision correction, wearing contact lenses during the Apple Vision Pro demo is recommended. This adjustment ensures an optimal experience with the device, as glasses are not compatible with it.

Are photos or videos allowed during the event?

Recording the event is not allowed, but feel free to take photos and share your experiences on social media. We'll also be capturing some moments throughout the workshop. By participating in the event, you consent to potentially appearing on our shared media profiles.

Will there be food and drinks available during the workshop?

Lunch will be provided during the event, featuring a selection of dishes to cater to various tastes. Additionally, drinks including coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks will be available for free throughout the day.

Can I bring my own food an drinks to the event?

Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks. However, we expect you to consume these on the outside terrace and be respectful to the other participants. Also, any trash and leftovers have to be properly disposed.

What is the refund Policy?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our engagement with the location provider, we cannot offer any refunds.

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

The location is on the top floor of a building in the center of Napoli. The building is not accessible. However we encourage you to reach out with your specific needs to see how we can best organize to ensure your participation.

How many people will participate in the Workshop?

We aim to provide a meaningful experience for all participants. To make best use of the space and time, we are limiting the number of attendees to a maximum of 10.
