CELTA Q&A Session – Live Online with IH Milan
Overview
Thinking about the Cambridge CELTA but still have questions about your English level, time commitment or job prospects?
Join our free online CELTA Q&A session on Thursday 8 January 2026, from 18:00 to 19:00 (CET) with James Blackburn, Head CELTA Teacher Trainer at International House Milan | San Donato.
In this live session, James will give a short, practical overview of the CELTA course and then answer your questions in real time, so you can decide with confidence if this is the right step for you.
Who this session is for
This CELTA Q&A is ideal if you:
- are fluent in English but are not sure if your level is high enough for CELTA
- do not have an official English certificate and are wondering if this is a problem
- need to understand if you can combine CELTA with a job or university
- want a realistic idea of the job opportunities after CELTA in Italy and abroad
- are seriously considering applying for a future CELTA course at International House Milan | San Donato
You do not need to be 100% sure about applying – this session is also for people who are still exploring their options.
What we will cover
During the Q&A, we will focus especially on the most frequently asked question:
“I’m fluent in English, but I don’t have a certificate of my level.
Can I still access the CELTA course?”
We will also look at:
- what level of English you really need for CELTA
- whether you must have an English certificate (IELTS, Cambridge, etc.)
- how the application and interview work in practice
- if it is realistic to do CELTA while working or studying
- the different course formats available at IH Milan (full-time, part-time, extensive, online / face-to-face)
- what kinds of teaching jobs and career paths CELTA can open for you
There will be plenty of time for live questions, so feel free to ask about your specific situation.
