Insieme a Harmen Liemburg, i partecipanti al workshop sperimenteranno la versatile tecnica della serigrafia, che può essere utilizzata per stampare su una grande varietà di materiali con risultati sorprendenti. Durante "Black In White Out" i partecipanti lavoreranno con i seguenti colori: bianco, nero, argento e grigio. L'attenzione si concentrerà sul lavorare insieme, mescolando l’hand lettering ed i materiali messi a disposizione. Dopo ogni tiratura, appariranno forme, motivi e colori inaspettati. Alla fine della giornata, tutti torneranno a casa con tante nuove idee per futuri progetti individuali.

prerequisiti

Esperienza di base nell’utilizzo della stampa serigrafica.

Il workshop sarà tenuto in inglese.

target

Artisti, designer e tutti coloro che hanno un minimo di dimestichezza con la serigrafia.

materiale necessario

Ai partecipanti verrà chiesto di preparare in anticipo alcune matrici originali per l'esposizione. Le istruzioni verranno condivise tramite e-mail 1-2 settimane prima del workshop.

Together with Harmen Liemburg, the participants of the workshop will experience the versatile technique of screenprinting that can be used to print on a large variety of materials in a powerful way. During “Black In White Out” the participants will work with white, black, silver, and grey colours. The focus will lay on working together, mixing everybody's personal handwriting and material. After each print run, unexpected shapes, patterns and colours will appear. At the end of the day, everybody will go home with plenty of new ideas for future individual projects.

skills required

Basic practical experience with screenprinting is required.

The workshop will be held in English.

target group

Artists, designers and everyone who have a minimum of experience in screenprinting.

necessary material

Participants will prepare several original films for exposure beforehand. Instructions will be shared through email 1-2 weeks before the workshop.

Eyes On the Netherlands offre un programma di workshop, eventi online e mostre che illustrano i punti salienti della comunicazione visiva olandese e la contaminazione tra le tendenze e le influenze europee in questo campo.

From 14 to 30 May Graphic Days® presents a special edition in collaboration with Graphic Matters and the Embassy and Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Italy to bring the excellence of Dutch visual design to Turin.
