About this meeting:

UX Writing or Communication? Friends or enemies? After all: is it a match? What are the differences between these titles that regards the user experience related to the language and tone of voice used for our products and services? In this panel, Daniela De Giorgi and Valentina Di Michele will tell us their experience working with UX Writing and Communication, as a Marketer and a UX Writer point of view, and discuss what are the differences in what they do, their assumptions, goals, challenges and the importance of their role.

About Ladies that UX:

We are a friendly, welcoming and collaborative community, with a growing number of local groups based in cities worldwide. We are in more than 60 cities around the world, born in 2013. We are not a common technology community, our goal is not just to network and talk about a popular topic. We understand that women need a dedicated space to encourage, support and promote each other, and so more and more women may be interested in working with UX and technology.

Former art blogger and founder of an online art project called THIS IS SO CONTEMPORARY. Marketer and shareholder at an Italian tech company that develops a semantic search engine with patents in 46 countries. Currently Chapter Leader of Graydee, the Digital Marketing Tribe of Experience Business Unit at Spindox Group. In her role, Daniela is now responsible for the brand positioning of Graydee along with the communication of its commercial offer, with the commitment to ensure that the marketing strategies of her chapter are properly aligned to the defined goals and market trends. Also, she is constantly focused in finding merging points amongst design and marketing in the current non-linear business models.
