THE ROMA CLEANWEB HACKATHON
Participants are free to propose any projects relevant to the themes listed and may make use of open data, data provided by the event partners, or bring their own data. Sunday afternoon, “live” applications will be demonstrated to the jury and the public and the best apps will be awarded. See our blog post about nomination of the winners. DevelopersDevelopers could created their profiles and projects on Hacker League, where developers could also checkout wiki pages for project ideas, bio of the mentors and Data Sets and APIs.
The spirit of the Cleanweb Hackathon is to show what you can create in a weekend; specifically, it is the opportunity to apply web, mobile and social media technologies to resource constraint issues, such as energy, waste, transportation, and water efficiency. Thanks to our experts and partners involved, you will also have the opportunity to learn about current challenges, open data for sustainability and state of the art in Cleanweb in the US and elsewhere in Europe.
EVENT BRIEF
The second Roma Cleanweb Hackathon will took place in 48 hours the weekend of 17 January hrough 19 January 2014, initiating with the kickoff, briefing, idea pitching and team-building Friday afternoon and evening. Participants wre free to propose any projects relevant to the themes listed and may make use of open data, data provided by the event partners, or bring their own data. Sunday afternoon, “live” applications were demonstrated to the jury and the public and the best apps were awarded.
