Match-Making Day | Call for Solutions - Sustainable Food Systems

The Match-Making Day is the final event of Food Trails' Call for Solutions, which will bring together the most innovative European food-tech startups/SMEs, the most relevant network of cities & food stakeholders in Europe, and investors. The main objective of the event is to create strategic alliances between the cities and startups/SMEs, to respond to specific challenges related to sustainable food system transformations.

The Call for Solutions was launched within Food Trails, a four-year EU-funded Horizon 2020 project which aims to promote sustainable, healthy, and inclusive food policies in 11 European cities including Bergamo, Birmingham, Bordeaux Metropole, Copenhagen, Funchal, Grenoble-Alpes Metropole, Groningen, Milan, Thessaloniki, Tirana, and Warsaw.

The event is part of the "Forum del Cibo", which will take place from 8 to 13 May 2023 in Milan, promoted by the Food Policy Area of the Municipality of Milan. It will also include a special session on impact financing where the framework and solutions for investing in urban food policies will be discussed.
