International trade in wartime - A voice from Ukraine
Informazioni sull'evento
The enduring war against Ukraine and the sanctions adopted by EU on Russia are having a significant impact on economies and international trade, reverberating through multiple channels: restrictive measures on imports and exports of goods - in particular on energy and luxury products -, tax, contracts and arbitration, pushing CEOs to implement new strategies, relocating their international activities, workers and suppliers. Moreover, the martial law in effect in Ukraine since the start of the war is hardly affecting business activity.
After a general overview of the various areas hit by the crisis, it will be given an insight of the recent changes introduced by the martial law and their major implications on commercial agreements and supply chains.
