L'università ha un accordo Open Access Read & Publish con IEEE che consente agli autori affiliati dell'università di pubblicare articoli ad accesso aperto sulle riviste e le pubblicazioni di IEEE. Ciò aumenterà la visibilità della ricerca rendendo gli articoli immediatamente disponibili sulla Biblioteca digitale IEEE Xplore e consentendo agli autori di mantenere il copyright.

Il workshop ha lo scopo di spiegare il perché è importante pubblicare, i vantaggi della pubblicazione in Open Access, sul perché l’università ha un accordo Open Access con IEEE e l'intervento di Eszter Lukacs (IEEE Client Services Manager), riguarderà i seguenti temi:

The UNIVERSITY has an Open Access Read & Publish agreement with IEEE which allows corresponding authors from UNIVERSITY to publish articles open access in IEEE journals and magazines. This will increase the visibility of your research by making your IEEE journal articles instantly available and free to read on the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and allowing you as the author to retain copyright.

The workshop aims to explain why it is important to publish, the advantages of Open Access publishing, why the university has an Open Access agreement with IEEE and the speech by Eszter Lukacs (IEEE Client Services Manager), will cover the following topics:

- How to select a magazine to submit your article

- A few quick tips on best practices to help you get published

- How to publish OA with IEEE

To conclude, some "case studies" by prestigious authors from Italian universities who publish on IEEE.

NOTE: Since the seats are limited, REGISTRATION is required through the appropriate command: "RESERVE A PLACE". (FREE event).
