The event will explore the topic of the European Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and its relationship with the interests of the foreign affairs of member states of the European Union. The guest speakers will provide an overview of the current state of the CFSP in Europe and its implications on the international scenario, touching upon many critical issues over this matter.

The event will be moderated by Professor Catherine E. De Vries, Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University. European Generation will host as guest speakers Professor Richard G. Whitman, director of the Global Europe Centre and professor of Politics and International Relations at the University of Kent, and Federico Castiglioni, researcher working in the programme “EU, politics and institutions” at Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI).
