As part of EIT Food, there is a Regional Innovation Scheme (RIS), a specific programme of support to help entrepreneurs and innovators in European countries that currently spend less on research and
development. As part of the Regional Innovation Scheme, EIT Food is running the RIS Innovation Grants.The Grants are awarded to support the development of new products and services which can help
transform our food system, making it healthier, more sustainable and more trusted. There are 2 grants to be awarded for Romania: the first prize is 10 000 € and the second prize is 5 000 €.
