Il seminario si comporrà di due parti: una prima parte dedicata alle caratteristiche costitutive ed imprescindibili del Counseling (Counseling fondamentale) ed una di approfondimento tematico.

Counseling Fondamentale

Il counseling ha una lunga storia, oramai centenaria ma ben pochi, anche all’interno del suo stesso mondo, la conoscono. Eppure la storia del counseling, rivista oggi con gli occhi del professionista del XXI secolo ci fornirà le risposte per poter affrontare proficuamente, anche in Italia, la sua pratica come strumento essenziale di crescita con e per le persone.

Spesso si associa il counseling a vari ambiti, ma esso possiede alcune caratteristiche costitutive che lo rendono oggi più che mai un prodotto unico.

Durante il corso:

• scopriremo ed apprezzeremo queste caratteristiche costitutive e peculiari (ad esempio l’analisi del linguaggio)
• approfondiremo lo sviluppo di una relazione di counseling e la sua applicazione ai diversi ambiti professionali

Il seminario si terrà in italiano e in inglese ed è aperto a tutti gli associati della Scuola di Arte del Processo.

Approfondimento tematico

Quest’anno l’approfondimento tematico sarà basato su tre aspetti che permetteranno di arricchire la nostra visione del counseling:

Narrazione Archetipale e Mitologia applicata

La Mitologia ha oggi ancora un significato ed un valore? Già in ambito psicodinamico (Jung, Hillmann) si era iniziata una riflessione sulla profondità ed attualità del mito oggi. Ma la scienza del mito (Kerenyi, Otto, Zolla, Eliade) ci permette oggi, attraverso la narratologia, di ripensare profondamente l’influenza delle strutture archetipiche all’interno della nostra dimensione narrativa. La scienza del mito allora, dentro una relazione di counseling, può diventare Mitologia Applicata e far rivivere, attraverso lo studio degli Archetipi la profondità e la vitalità del mito nella nostra vita quotidiana.

Neurofilosofia

La mente è sempre al centro delle nostre attenzioni come professionisti delle relazioni. Lo sviluppo delle Neuroscienze ha dato impulso alle ricerca sulla mente, ma cosa è la mente in se stessa, come funziona e soprattutto qual è il suo rapporto con il cervello, con la sua dimensione organica è il campo di indagine specifico della Neurofilosofia.

Attraverso un approccio fenomenologico alla mente e tenendo conto della neurobiologia proveremo a scoprire le possibilità della Mente Relazionale.

Filosofia contemporanea e Democrazia Profonda

Il concetto di democrazia profonda è al centro del Process Work. La filosofia morale e politica ha profondamente analizzato questi temi ed il loro rapporto con le sfide della modernità.

Analizzeremo quindi alcuni dei principali approcci filosofici che possano aiutarci a comprender meglio questi concetti. Ma siccome la democrazia va anche praticata, la filosofia offre un approccio estremamente pratico alla riflessione attraverso le metodiche della Pratica Filosofica che sperimenteremo in aula.

Seminario aperto a tutti coloro che:

• desiderano conoscere e/o approfondire le pratiche del Counseling, inclusi gli iscritti ad altre scuole e discipline
• vogliono comprendere come il Processwork possa aiutare a leggere la propria interiorità
• sono impegnati come psicologi, psicoterapeuti, professionisti della relazione d'aiuto
• sono interessati ad una crescita personale.

COUNSELING AND DEEP DEMOCRACY

Archetypal Narrative, Applied Mythology and Neurophilosophy in the helping relationship

The seminar will consist of two parts: a first part dedicated to the constitutive and indispensable characteristics of Counselling (Foundation in Counselling) and a second part dedicated to an in-depth thematic study.

The Development of Counselling

Counselling has a long history, now over one hundred years old, but very few, even within its own world, know it. Yet the history of counselling, reviewed today through the eyes of the 21st century professional, will provide us with the answers to be able to profitably address, even in Italy, its practice as an essential tool for growth with and for people.

Counselling is often associated with various fields, but it possesses certain inherent characteristics that make it unique today more than ever.

During the course:

• we will discover and appreciate the particularities of these inherent characteristics (e.g. language analysis)
• Through these various pathways we will deepen our understanding of the development of a counselling relationship and its application to different professional fields.

The seminar is held in Italian and English and is open to all members of Arte del Processo Association (20€ membership fee).

Deepening specific themes

This year the thematic deepening will be based on three aspects that will allow us to enrich our vision of counselling:

Archetypal Narrative and Applied Mythology

Does Mythology still have a meaning and value today? Already in the psychodynamic field (Jung, Hillman) a reflection on the depth and relevance of myth in our world today had begun. But the science of myth (Kerenyi, Otto, Zolla, Eliade) allows us today, through narratology, to deeply re-think the influence of archetypal structures within our narrative dimension. The science of myth then, within a counselling relationship, can become Applied Mythology and, through the study of the Archetypes, bring to life the depth and vitality of myth in our daily lives.

Neuro-philosophy

The mind is always at the centre of our attention as professionals in relationships. The development of Neuroscience has given impetus to research on the mind, but what the mind is in itself, how it works and above all what it’s relationship is with the brain, with its organic dimension, is the specific field of investigation of Neuro-philosophy. Through a phenomenological approach to the mind and taking neurobiology into account we will try to discover the possibilities of the Relational Mind.

Contemporary Philosophy and Deep Democracy

The concept of deep democracy is at the core of Process Work. Moral and political philosophy has deeply analysed these issues and their relationship with the challenges of modernity.

We will therefore look at some of the main philosophical approaches that can help us to better understand these concepts. But since democracy must also be practiced, philosophy offers a very practical approach to reflection through the methods of Philosophical Practice that we will experiment in the classroom.

This Seminar open to all those who:

• wish to learn about and/or deepen their knowledge of couselling practices, including those enrolled in other schools and disciplines;
• want to un;derstand how Processwork can help them to read their own internal world;
• are engaged as a psychologist, psychotherapist, or as a professional in another kind of helping relationship;
• simply are interested in personal growth

This 13-hour seminar is valid for 26 CFP credits.
