L’altopiano etiope, per la maggior parte dell’anno brullo e arido, è punteggiato da densi boschi di forma circolare e di grande biodiversità: le ultime vestigia della foresta primaria. Al centro del bosco si trovano antiche chiese ortodosse che vivono in simbiosi con il bosco: lo proteggono e ne sono a loro volta protette.

The Ethiopian Plateau, barren and dry for most of the year, is dotted by dense round-shaped forests of great biodiversity: the last remains of the primary forest. At its centre, ancient orthodox churches that live in symbiosis with the surrounding forest protect them while being protected by them.
