CLIMATE SPACE | Dead River – Il fiume scomparso

La città iraniana di Isfahan è famosa per l’antico ponte di pietra Si-o-se-pol che, con i suoi trentatre archi attraversa il fiume Zayanderud, una volta il principale fiume dell’Altopiano Centrale. The Iranian city of Isfahan is famous for the 400 years old Si-o-se-pol bridge that with its thirty-three arches crosses the Zayanderud, once the largest river on the central Iranian Plateau. But now the river has dried up and local farmers and citizens march together to ask the government to let the water flow again.
