Apartamento by Contemporary Cluster at Palazzo Brancaccio is an exhibition place that explores the domestic area of living. Apartamento will have seven big rooms located on the sixth floor of the building; the space will be set up several times a year, according to the Cluster methodology. This space is an opportunity to reflect about the idea of living and put into practice new experimental settings, always characterized by the contamination of styles: historical designs and new contemporary brands cohabit together to create a perfect harmony. Each room is a set of different tastes, shape, color and art. The rooms are presented as set up spaces, ready to be inhabited by the visitors who will find themselves in a different and unique background walking from room to room. Every single piece from the work of art, the carpet, the lamp to the furnishing are produced by contemporary brands that are part of the Contemporary Cluster roster, mixed with fine selection of historical design pieces.
The brands included inside the Apartamento have been selected by the co-founder and Head of Design of Contemporary Cluster: Architect Giorgia Cerulli, during the countless years of experience in the design world. The brands, some historical, and others emerging, are all united by a careful research of materials that ensures high quality products.

Contemporary Cluster [Collective Intelligence] presents Tout Brûle on 15 October 2021, an exhibition with works by Luca Casillo of Di.loer in the halls of the new Cluster Apartamento space.
Luca Casillo presents his collection of vases in the rooms of the Apartamento, the works on display include new works and some older ones which are connected by the iconography that symbolizes the flames. Fire is the emblem of Luca's works and expresses his deep bond with life, representing his passion for living. For the artist, we are the fire, passion, desire, and hope. They guide us and mark our lives. Everything burns. While representing the flame of fire, we are observing life, the energy of creation and love we experience.
If nothing is eternal, the ceramic remains. When human beings savor the warmth of life, in the same way ceramic, worked at high temperatures, undergoes a similar process, from birth to its revelation. The dimensions and models selected have been chosen to stimulate a visual dialogue with the design works existing in the space. The artist's works are mainly in ceramic, enriched with metal and other materials to emphasize the idea of fusion.
Luca Casillo's exhibition consists of vases with historical and traditional layouts, which enhanced by their domestic and contemporary use. The vase has a strong visual value, regardless of its purpose, it is strongly characterized by details.
The works of Luca Casillo, in the spectacularity of its flames, with their weight and their dimensions, are the expression of impressive values such as pride and strength. Di.loer represents the artist's torments, his obsessions and the freedom of expression that takes shape through the object. As they reveal themselves, the flames of Casillo seem to scream TOUT BRÛLE. In this fast and true age, everything burns.
Di.loer, originated from the artist's love for ceramics, is a universe of memories, research and passion, epiphany and obsession. This is a confident voice and an imposing aesthetic, a continuous challenge of shapes and sizes. Di.loer is the antidote to Luca Casillo's introverted personality, the pride he had built up over the years made him stand firm, casting a shadow over his slender shoulders and shy voice.

from October 15, 2021, Numero Cromatico will open the doors of a project room within the context of Contemporary Cluster, which will regularly showcase art projects and experimental activities. Numero Cromatico is a collective of artists based in Rome. In the past 10 years, their research has been based on an interdisciplinary approach between art and neuroscience. Neuroaesthetics, empirical aesthetics, experimental psychology, and visual communication are integrated in their research, not only the creation of works of art, but also of curatorial and editorial projects, workshops and informative events.
In the project room, neuroscience experiments on art will be conducted in collaboration with research groups and national and international universities, in which the public will be directly involved in the experimental and data collection phases. In addition to exhibitions and scientific research, Numero Chromatic will promote debates, seminars and moments of study throughout the year, in different areas of Palazzo Brancaccio.
On the occasion of the opening on October 15th, Numero Cromatico will present in the spaces of the project room Dove tutto inizia (Where everything begins), an installation of works from the Semper Vivi series (2021), Limonium Sinuatum flower mosaics that show texts generated by an artificial intelligence instructed by the collective and programmed in collaboration with the University of Verona. The exhibition is part of a collective investigation into perception mechanisms and how to manipulate and stimulate these mechanisms through art installations.
