Do you want to speak English more confidently at work and in social situations?

At The Pelican School of American English & Culture we specialize in advanced learning for professionals through the study of American journalism.

Join us for a free introductory class: American News.

An ability to read and comprehend news articles is essential to the understanding of contemporary American culture. In American News, students examine stories from The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal - America's leading newspapers. Through reading and discussion students will refine pronunciation, reduce accent, enrich vocabulary, and improve reading comprehension. Most importantly, students will practice expressing complex and nuanced ideas in spoken English.

Meets on Zoom Monday, 6 pm, PDT.
