And the largest!! You will have the chance to discover it while you will be leisurely sitting on your couch, comfortable and relaxed.
The tour will start with a the impressive video of the eruption
**Then Anna, will 'take you' through the solemn streets of Pompeii and will show you the greater parts of a Roman town as it was when disaster overtook it almost 2.000 years ago.
** You'll discover the most outstanding features such as Temples, a Thermal Bath and discover how its heating system worked; the Amphitheater; a private house and shops, and you will see how an ancient roman city was and how the people lived back in the 1st century AD.
And how they perished. Will also linger on the most dramatic evidence of what happened on 79 AD: the casts of the people who died during the eruption.
During the tour pictures and videos will be shown about the most recent discoveries such as the the two last victims found and how they made a cast out of them and the incredibly well preserved shop.
Anna is an Art Historian and an Accredited Tour Guide in Campania Region since 1999. She makes these tours very engaging!
**She will offer you a livelier idea of their modes of life, better than all the books in the world!
When:
JANUARY: Saturday 16 - 30 January at 6.30pm CET Rome time (Central European Time - Rome).
FEBRUARY: Saturday 13 at 06.30pm CET Rome time (Central European Time - Rome).
It will last approximately 1.30 hour.
During the tour and at the end you will be given the chance to interact and make questions just like a live tour.
