We believe that everything deserves a second chance. Even your bike. At Drosi we turn waste into a solution by creating unique, functional and fun bikes and electric bikes from discarded ones, reducing waste and helping people like you have a positive impact on the world.OUR STORYDrosi Bikes was built on an idea that was dreamt up whilst it’s founders, Beth and Robin, were cycling from Wales to Istanbul (and back again).Having spent months in the saddle they realised the benefits that cycling could bring; physically, mentally and just as importantly, environmentally. Once back on home turf they quickly realised the need to break down as many barriers to cycling as possible in order to enable people to choose low impact, sustainable transport. In 2020 at the heigh of COVID-19 Drosi Bikes was born. Starting with a handful of e-bike conversions word quickly got around and it wasn’t long before we out grew the somewhat basic workshop in Beth’s parents garage and moved into our current base in Llangollen. Since then, Drosi has built an inclusive, accessible and inspiring cycle hub, where bikes are repaired and recycled and people are upskilled and educated around bike maintenance and sustainability. With the support of an ever growing team of staff and volunteers, we’re making it our mission to help other people benefit from the joys that cycling can bring, whilst empowering them to take positive action against climate change.
